Following the drone attack by the Russian army on the capital of Ukraine, at least eight people have been injured

Bayan News – International media reported this morning, on Friday (March 21st), that in the missile and drone attack by the Russian army on the city of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, approximately eight people have been injured.

According to these reports, the sound of several explosions and anti-aircraft fire was also heard in the city of Kiev before sunrise. Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kiev, announced on the Telegram platform: “Missile fragments have fallen in various parts of the city, including residential buildings and a kindergarten.”

Russia is creating two new armies

Sergei Shoigu, the Russian Minister of Defense, announced yesterday that by the end of 2024, with the recruitment of hundreds of thousands of contract soldiers, two new armies will be created.

According to the Russian Minister of Defense, the new armies in Moscow will consist of 30 formations composed of different units and territorial defense forces.

The Russian Defense Minister has also stated that the Russian army has forced Ukrainian forces to retreat from most areas and they are currently consolidating their positions.

However, according to reports, Russia controls approximately one-fifth of Ukrainian territory. Following the occupation of the city of Avdiivka in eastern Ukraine last month, Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, has ordered the occupation of more areas.
