Bayan News – The Ministry of Information and Culture of the Taliban has stated in a newsletter that the plan for the exploitation of the Ainak copper mine is intended by the Beijing government.

This matter was raised between Mawlawi Munir, the Minister of Information and Culture, and Song Wenbing, the new head of the Chinese contracting company for the extraction of the Ainak copper mine.

According to the Ministry, citing the head of the Chinese contracting company, it is stated that the plan for the exploitation of the Ainak copper mine is intended by the Chinese government.

According to the head of the Chinese company, during the mining excavation, historical artifacts in the relevant areas will be preserved.

The contract for the extraction of the Ainak copper mine is one of the most important contracts in the mining sector of Afghanistan, which has been discussed between the two countries in recent years.
