The Italian Coast Guard has stated that this incident occurred on Thursday (April 10) and has announced that in their operation, they managed to rescue 22 refugees, while 15 other refugees are still missing.
According to the Italian Coast Guard, adverse weather conditions have posed challenges to their rescue operations.
