Taliban Foreign Minister: We have succeeded in the fight against ISIS and drugs
Bayan News – Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban Foreign Minister, claimed during a meeting with an Indonesian delegation that the current government in Kabul has succeeded in the fight against ISIS and drugs.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday (June 2) the visit of the Indonesian delegation to Kabul.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the deputy spokesperson of the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated in a press release on the X platform that the Indonesian delegation has traveled to Kabul to assess the situation in Afghanistan.
The Taliban Foreign Minister added in this meeting that investment opportunities have been created in the mining, energy, and agriculture sectors.
According to Muttaqi, the Taliban is currently working jointly with regional countries to implement projects such as CASA 1000, TAPI, and Afghan Trans.
However, the Indonesian delegation promised that their country will collaborate with Afghanistan in the areas of health and granting scholarships.
It is worth noting that the Taliban currently has an official ambassador in Indonesia and Taliban diplomatic representatives are working to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
