The United States Draft Ceasefire Resolution Presented to the Security Council

Bayan News – It has been reported that the United States has presented a draft resolution to the Security Council for a ceasefire in Gaza.

According to Reuters, this draft resolution supports a proposal by U.S. President Joe Biden to end the war between Hamas and Israel.

On Monday (June 3), the United States asked the United Nations Security Council to support the draft resolution to end the war between Hamas and Israel.

It has also been reported that the United States has sent the draft ceasefire resolution to the 15 members of the UN Security Council and needs 9 positive votes for its approval.

In its proposed draft resolution, the United States also emphasized the importance of the parties’ commitment to the terms of the agreement in order to achieve a permanent cessation of hostilities.

Confirmation of the Death of Four Other Hostages

Concurrently, the Israeli army has announced that four Israeli hostages who were abducted by Hamas on October 7th have died in captivity, and their bodies are in the possession of Hamas.

The Israeli army identified these four men as Haim Peri, 80 years old, Yoram Metzger, 80 years old, Amiram Cooper, 84 years old, and Nadav Papplul, 51 years old.

All four individuals were seen alive in the videos previously released by Hamas of the hostages.

According to Hamas, Nadav Papplul died as a result of injuries sustained from an Israeli air strike last month.
