Putin: If Anyone Threatens Russia’s Territorial Integrity, We Will Use Any Means at Our Disposal

Bayan News – Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the West that if Russia’s territorial integrity is threatened, Moscow will use any means, including nuclear weapons, to defend itself.

Putin made these remarks on Wednesday (June 5) at a meeting with senior editors of international news agencies in St. Petersburg, and said the West should not take this warning lightly.

The Russian president said: “For some reason, the West believes that Russia will never use it (nuclear weapons). We have a nuclear doctrine, see what it says.”

Putin further added: “If someone’s actions threaten the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, we have the right to use all the tools at our disposal. This should not be taken lightly.”

According to Putin, the West has constantly accused Russia of nuclear threats, but this is a mistake. It was the United States that used nuclear weapons against Japan during World War II.
