The Taliban Will Participate in the Third Doha Meeting

Bayan News – Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban’s interim government, says that their delegation will participate in the third Doha meeting.

Mujahid added on Sunday (June 16) that the Taliban, after reviewing the agenda of the third Doha meeting, decided to participate in this meeting.

The spokesperson of the Taliban’s interim government further added that the agenda of the Doha meeting was considered beneficial for Afghanistan, as this meeting will discuss topics such as humanitarian aid, creating opportunities for investors, and other important and fundamental issues.

According to Mujahid, the composition of the Taliban delegation will be announced later.

The third Doha meeting will be hosted by the United Nations and attended by special representatives of countries for Afghanistan on June 30th of the current month.

The Taliban did not participate in the previous two Doha meetings and did not consider them beneficial for the people of Afghanistan.
