Taliban: Exports have decreased by $9 million in the last month
Bayan News – The Taliban’s Central Statistics and Information Administration (TSIA) says in a recent report that Afghanistan’s exports of goods have decreased by $9 million in the last month.
The administration said on Saturday (July 20) in a newsletter that Afghanistan’s total exports in the month of Jauza (May/June) reached $93.3 million, while this figure was $104.6 million in the month of Saur (April/May).
The Taliban administration stated that the total value of imports in the month of Jauza reached $900.9 million, which is a decrease of $49.6 million compared to the month of Saur.
According to the figures of this administration, the total value of the country’s imports in the month of Saur was $950.5 million.
According to the statistics of the Taliban’s Central Statistics and Information Administration, in the month of Jauza this year, the majority of the country’s imports were from Iran, Pakistan, and China.
The administration said that in this month, Afghanistan has also had the highest exports to Pakistan, India and Iran respectively.
