Taliban Defense Minister: The Current System is Shared and There is No Discrimination
Bayan News – Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Taliban’s Defense Minister, says that the current system in Afghanistan is shared and there is no discrimination within it.
He made these remarks on Sunday, August 18th, on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence. The Taliban celebrated this day with commemorative ceremonies and a public holiday across the country.
The Taliban Defense Minister said in his speech: “This common system is ours and there is no discrimination, do not be deceived by the propaganda of the enemies and be hopeful for a stable future.”
Stating that 105 years ago, who, how, and with what goals achieved freedom for us, he added: “Our mujahideen people have defeated three great powers throughout history and gained their independence.”
It is worth noting that it has been three years since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, but it has not been recognized by any country so far.
