Trump, who was campaigning on Wednesday night (August 21) in the city of North Carolina, said that if he won the election, he would fire the military officials who failed in Washington’s failed withdrawal operation from Afghanistan.
He said: “I demand their immediate resignation.”
Trump again described the US withdrawal from Afghanistan as a disaster.
The former US president has repeatedly criticized the Biden administration’s election campaign in recent days for leaving behind billions of dollars’ worth of military equipment in Afghanistan.
