Bayan News – American media, citing officials from Kamala Harris’s campaign, accused former President Donald Trump of the chaotic withdrawal of Washington from Afghanistan.
Morgan Finkelstein, the national security spokesperson for the Harris campaign, stated on Saturday (September 7) that Trump is trying to deceive the American people by criticizing Joe Biden’s disorganized exit from Afghanistan.
She said, “Trump shamelessly attacks the Vice President because he hopes to mislead the country into forgetting that his own actions harmed the troops.”
On the other hand, Republicans are conducting further investigations into the manner of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
It is worth noting that, according to the Doha Agreement signed during Trump’s presidency, U.S. forces left Afghanistan on August 15, 2021.
