Musk claims he will pave the way for human transfer from Earth to Mars within two years
Bayan News – Elon Musk, the American billionaire and CEO of SpaceX, has stated that the first launch of the “Starship” to Mars will occur within the next two years.
According to Euronews, the most powerful rocket ever built is being prepared for its fifth mission despite previous unsuccessful launch attempts. This mission follows a successful fourth launch, which has further fueled Musk’s hopes of realizing the dream of human settlement on Mars.
Elon Musk posted a message on the platform X, stating, “The first Starship launch to Mars will take place within two years, opening a new gateway for the transfer of humans from Earth to Mars.”
The CEO of SpaceX emphasized that this launch, aimed at making Mars landing a reality, will be uncrewed.
Mr. Musk promised that if a successful landing on Mars is achieved, the first group of humans will head to Mars within the next four years.
The richest person in the world explained, “The number of flights (to Mars) will then grow exponentially so that the goal of building a self-sustaining city on the surface of Mars can be realized in about 20 years.”
Starship is the largest and most powerful rocket ever created by humanity; it is approximately 122 meters long and generates nearly twice the thrust of NASA’s Artemis lunar program rocket at launch.
SpaceX believes that Starship can ultimately fulfill Musk’s long-standing dream of establishing human habitation on Mars.
