Bayan News – It has been reported that the Islamic Republic of Iran executed an Afghan prisoner in Zahedan prison on charges of drug trafficking.
According to published reports, this Afghan citizen was named Noorzahee and was executed in the early hours of Monday (September 9).
It is said that this citizen of Afghanistan was a resident of Nimroz province and was arrested two years ago in Zabul on drug trafficking charges.
The number of executions by the Islamic Republic of Iran has increased in recent months. rights organizations in Iran had previously reported that approximately 100 prisoners have been executed in Iran in the last two months, among whom 11 were Afghan citizens.
