Taliban Ministry of Justice: Anyone Who Criticizes the Regime Will Be Prosecuted

Bayan News – The Taliban Ministry of Justice warned on Thursday (September 12) in a statement that from now on, anyone who criticizes the Taliban regime and government will be referred to the courts in accordance with the law.

The statement from this ministry notes that anyone who, out of bias and to undermine the regime, criticizes the signed legislative documents will be acting against Sharia, which will not be acceptable under any circumstances.

The Taliban Ministry of Justice has clearly stated: “If someone, from now on, opposes the signed legislative documents of the Islamic Emirate in the media or other forums, with the intent to undermine them or out of animosity, they will face legal consequences and be presented before the courts.”

According to this statement, if someone seeks clarification or has suggestions for improvement due to a lack of understanding of the laws, the doors of the Ministry of Justice are open to them.

This warning from the Taliban Ministry of Justice comes just a few weeks after the promulgation of the Taliban’s law on the promotion of virtue.

However, this law has faced widespread reactions and opposition at the international level.
