War between Israel and Hezbollah: Israeli Army Commander announces possible entry into Lebanese territory

Bayan News – Herzl Halevi, commander of the Israeli Army, stated on Wednesday (September 25) that the recent airstrikes by Israel are in preparation for a potential ground force entry into Lebanese territory.

He made these remarks among Israeli soldiers, saying, “You hear the sound of jets overhead; we have been attacking all day. This is both to prepare for your possible entry and to continue weakening Hezbollah.”

This Israeli military official noted that the goal of the attacks is to return residents of northern Israel and emphasized that, to achieve this goal, the army is preparing a process for relocation.

The Israeli Army commander explained: “This means that your military boots, the boots of your maneuvering campaign, will enter enemy territory; they will enter villages that Hezbollah has prepared as large military bases.”

This comes as over 50 civilians have died in Lebanon during the Israeli army’s attacks on Wednesday.

Many European and Western countries, including the United States, are attempting to reduce tensions between Israel and Hezbollah through diplomatic processes.
