Taliban Prime Minister: Muslims Should Support the Cause of the Palestinian People
Bayan News – Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Taliban, condemned the killing of Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas’ political office, by Israel in a statement.
This senior Taliban official released a statement on Friday (October 18), stating that martyrdom in the path of God is the greatest ideal of the Mujahideen.
In the statement, the Taliban Prime Minister said: “The occupying Israel should not forget that the martyrdom of great Mujahideen leaders further accelerates the Jihadi struggle against the enemy and strengthens it many times over.”
The Taliban official called on all Muslims around the world to support the cause of the Palestinian people, stand by them, and fulfill their responsibility in this regard.
Prior to this statement, some Taliban members also announced that the Taliban and Hamas share common goals.
Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas’ political office, was killed on Wednesday during a ground battle with the Israeli army in the city of Rafah.
