Turkey’s Aerospace and Aviation Industries Attacked

Bayan News – On Wednesday afternoon (October 23), Turkey’s Ministry of Interior reported an explosion and armed attack at the headquarters of the country’s Aerospace and Aviation Industries in Ankara.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya declared the attack as a terrorist incident, stating that several people were killed and injured due to the explosion and gunfire by armed individuals.

According to published reports, security forces, firefighters, and medical teams have been dispatched to the scene.

The attack took place while President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was in Kazan, Russia, attending the BRICS summit.

Turkish media, citing officials, reported that at least three people were killed and five others injured in the attack on the Aerospace and Aviation Industries headquarters.

The cause of the explosion and gunfire is still unclear, but some reports suggest a suicide bombing might have occurred at the Turkish Aerospace and Aviation Industries center.
