According to U.S. media reports, Trump told his supporters: “I want to thank the American people for the incredible honor of being chosen as your 47th president and, once again, as your 45th president.”
Trump added: “I will not rest until I deliver a strong, secure, and prosperous America that our children deserve, and that you deserve.”
The Republican candidate also stated that his election as President would mark a golden era for the United States.
However, according to published reports, Donald Trump’s electoral votes reached 267 with his victory in Pennsylvania, leaving him just three votes short of winning.
Meanwhile, Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party candidate, has reached 224 electoral votes after her victory in Minnesota.
