Bayan News – International media reported that on the second day of the ceasefire, Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah accused each other of violating it.
Hassan Fadlallah, a Hezbollah representative in the Lebanese parliament, told reporters on Thursday (November 28): “The enemy is attacking those returning to border villages. Today, human rights violations by Israel are taking place in this way.”
The Lebanese army also accused Israel of repeatedly violating the ceasefire on Wednesday and Thursday.
Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets attacked facilities in southern Lebanon yesterday. The Israeli army claimed that Hezbollah was using these facilities to store medium-range missiles.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last night that he had instructed the army to be ready to resume intense fighting if the ceasefire was violated.
In an interview with Israel’s Channel 14, Netanyahu added: “We are implementing the ceasefire firmly, but I have instructed the Israeli army to prepare for intense warfare if the framework of the ceasefire is breached and if necessary.”
Israel also announced that on Thursday, it fired at suspicious vehicles heading to several points in southern Lebanon. Israel described the movement of these vehicles toward southern Lebanon as a violation of the ceasefire.
