Hanafi: Over the Past Three Years, 23,000 Graduates Have Been Recruited into Government Departments
Bayan News – Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Administrative Prime Minister of the caretaker government, stated that over the past three years, more than 23,000 university graduates have been recruited into government institutions.
This official of the caretaker government made these remarks on Wednesday (December 25) during a graduation ceremony for students from various disciplines at Kabul University.
The Deputy Administrative Prime Minister added that the current system in Afghanistan has provided suitable educational opportunities for the country’s youth. Additionally, postgraduate and doctoral study opportunities have been made available at most universities, allowing applicants to enhance and expand their academic capacities.
Referring to employment opportunities in Afghanistan, he stated that over the past three years, more than 43,000 university graduates have been recruited into various government departments through open competition as part of administrative reforms.
This claim comes at a time when many skilled young people have fled Afghanistan following the rise of the current government.
Furthermore, unemployment in Afghanistan has significantly increased over the past three years, with many young people and students migrating to neighboring countries due to economic hardships.
