Italy’s Ambassador in Kabul promises cooperation with the Taliban’s Central Bank

Bayan News – Natalia Quintavalle, Italy’s Ambassador in Kabul, met and held discussions with Hedayatullah Badri, the acting head of the Taliban’s Central Bank on Wednesday (19th of March).

The Taliban’s Central Bank stated in a press release that the bank advocates for better relations with all countries and financial and banking institutions in accordance with the law.

According to the Central Bank’s press release, discussions were held in this meeting regarding the economic situation, factors for maintaining Afghan stability, the banking sector, and the development of Islamic banking.

During this meeting, Italy’s Ambassador in Kabul also pledged to cooperate with the Taliban’s Central Bank.
