Bayan News – The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) congratulated in a message on World Poetry Day and recognized Afghanistan as the home of famous poets like Maulana.
The organization wrote today, on Friday (March 21), on the X platform: “World Poetry Day holds one of the most valuable cultural and linguistic identities of humanity.”
The UNAMA message stated: “Afghanistan’s rich poetic culture dates back thousands of years and is the home of famous poets like Mawlana.”
Today, March 21, coincides with World Poetry Day.
With the Taliban coming to power, the commemoration of cultural events has also faded in significance, similar to other areas.
