More than 50 people have been arrested in Turkey on charges of collaborating with ISIS
Bayan News – Turkish media, citing the Ministry of Interior of the country, have reported that more than 50 people have been arrested on charges of collaborating with ISIS.
Ali Yarlikaya, the Minister of Interior of the country, wrote on the Eik platform on Sunday (March 31) that these individuals have been detained in police operations in 30 cities across Turkey.
The Turkish Minister of Interior further wrote: “A large number of organizational documents and digital tools have been discovered and seized in a joint operation by the country’s forces.”
According to the published reports, the Turkish police operation has been launched in major cities of the country, including Ankara, Istanbul, Adana, Antalya, Konya, Kocaeli, and 15 other cities.
The Turkish police operation has intensified following the ISIS attack in Moscow.
