Iran and Pakistan share similar positions in the fight against terrorism
Bayan News – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi says that Tehran and Islamabad have a common stance in the fight against terrorism and are determined in this regard.
Ebrahim Raisi and Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, attended a press conference in Islamabad on Monday, April 22.
The Iranian President today embarked on a three-day trip to Pakistan.
Raisi added that Iran and Pakistan will take coordinated actions in combating drug trafficking and organized crimes.
He said, “In a word, the cooperation between the two countries is centered around the defense of human rights, both in bilateral, regional, and international collaborations.”
He continued to emphasize the continuity and enhancement of relations between the two countries at high levels.
Senior officials from Iran and Pakistan also addressed the ongoing crisis in Gaza and criticized the lack of attention from the United Nations and human rights organizations.
The Iranian President clearly stated that the United Nations Security Council and the United Nations have lost their effectiveness in containing the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East, especially in Gaza.
