Russia has put the President of Ukraine on the wanted list

Bayan News – Russian media, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, have reported that Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, has been placed on the wanted list by Russia.

The Russian news agency TASS reported on Saturday (May 4th) that Moscow has initiated a criminal case against the President of Ukraine and is seeking his arrest.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not provided further details on the matter.

According to published reports, Moscow has issued arrest warrants against several Ukrainian and European politicians following the attack on Ukraine.

In February, Russian police put Kaja Kallas, the Prime Minister of Estonia, the Minister of Culture of Lithuania, and former members of the Latvian parliament under investigation for the destruction of historical buildings from the Soviet era.

Russia has also issued an arrest warrant for the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), who last year issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, on charges of war crimes.
