Saudi Arabia to hold a meeting for discussions on Gaza
Bayan News – International media outlets have reported that Saudi Arabia will hold a meeting next week to discuss the future of Gaza, with the participation of Antony Blinken, the US Secretary of State.
According to the published reports, it is said that the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, representatives from the European Union, the Foreign Ministers of Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, and Palestinian self-governing bodies will also be present.
An informed source told Bloomberg that this meeting is primarily designed for initial discussions between the parties and is unlikely to yield specific results.
These discussions will take place on the sidelines of the World Economic Summit.
According to reports, Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries have strongly criticized Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza and have called for an immediate ceasefire.
The United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union are pressuring Israel to allow for increased entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza to alleviate the humanitarian crisis and prevent famine.
