Amnesty International: The world has not taken any action against human rights violations in Afghanistan
Bayan News – Amnesty International says that the international community’s actions to hold the Taliban accountable to prevent a human rights disaster in Afghanistan have been symbolic and in violation of the principles of human rights violations.
This organization said on Thursday (August 15) that the international community has not been able to take any meaningful action against human rights violations in this country over the past three years.
According to the statement, statements and the use of “strong language” cannot stop the Taliban’s suppressive policies based on human rights and women’s rights violations, and this challenge can be overcome with strong and effective actions.
On the other hand, this organization has launched a global petition and has asked the international community to “take more united and stronger actions to immediately establish a strong accountability mechanism to hold the Taliban accountable for human rights violations.”
However, the Taliban government considers human rights and women’s rights as an internal matter and expects the international community not to interfere in these matters.
