Kuwaiti investors are establishing a “foundation” to support the people of Afghanistan
Bayan News – A number of Kuwaiti investors in Kabul said in a meeting with the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs that they are seeking to establish a foundation to support the poor in Afghanistan.
A group of Kuwaiti investors met with Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, on Thursday (August 22) and discussed investment and trade in Afghanistan.
According to the press release of the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, the Kuwaiti investors said that Afghanistan has now become an appropriate country for investment and they are willing to engage in trade in addition to investment in various fields.
According to the press release, the Kuwaiti investors said that they want to establish a “foundation” to help in Afghanistan, and these aids will be used for the poor and development sectors by Islamic countries.
However, the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs welcomed this proposal from the Kuwaiti investors and assured that it will be supported by the Taliban.
