A 40-year-old man committed suicide in Samangan
Bayan News – Local sources in Samangan province in northern Afghanistan report that yesterday (August 27), a 40-year-old man committed suicide in the center of the province.
Taliban local officials have confirmed the incident, stating that the individual who committed suicide is named Zabiullah and lived in the “Kariz Qashlaq” area of Aybak city, the capital of Samangan.
The Taliban police command in Samangan has indicated that this man hanged himself due to psychological issues.
It is worth mentioning that reports of youth suicides in various provinces of Afghanistan have increased. Poverty, unemployment, and the uncertain future of Afghanistan are considered the main factors contributing to the suicides of Afghan youth.
