Second Teacher Murdered in Afghanistan; This Time a Teacher in Balkh Has Been Killed

Bayan News – Local sources in Balkh province, northern Afghanistan, reported the murder of a teacher in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of the province.

This is the second murder of a teacher reported in Afghanistan. Just yesterday, a teacher was also killed in the Ashkasham district of Badakhshan province.

According to sources in Balkh province, the teacher was named “Abdul Ahad” and was killed on Tuesday evening (September 3) in the Dasht-e-Shur area of the eighth district of Mazar-i-Sharif.

According to the sources, Abdul Ahad was shot dead by a motorcyclist.

So far, the motive for this teacher’s murder remains unclear. Security officials of the Taliban in Balkh have not commented on the matter yet.

Since the Taliban takeover, significant cases of mysterious murders and the discovery of bodies have been reported from various provinces.
