Bayan News – The Halvash Human Rights Organization has reported that in a recent incident, at least 260 Afghan migrants attempting to enter Iranian territory were killed in shootings by Iranian border forces.
The human rights organization released this report on the evening of Tuesday, October 15, citing two Afghan eyewitnesses who witnessed the killing of Afghan migrants in the border area of “Kalagan” in Saravan.
However, the report does not specify exactly when the incident took place.
According to this organization, Afghan migrants, including women and children, were shot at while climbing the border wall or crawling under the fences.
So far, officials from the Taliban government and the Islamic Republic have not commented on the incident.
Meanwhile, some members of the Taliban, including the well-known General Mubin, reacted to the event, saying that the Islamic Republic took revenge on Afghan migrants for Israel.
Saravan is in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan, bordering Pakistan. In the past, Baluchi insurgents have infiltrated from this border and attacked Iranian border forces, killing several of them.
