Israeli Media: Tel Aviv Prepared to Respond to Iran’s Missile Attack
Bayan News – The Israeli television network 14 reported on Tuesday (October 22) that the Israeli government’s plan to respond to Iran’s missile attack has been prepared.
According to Al Arabiya, the report from this television network indicates that Israel’s plan may include attacks on the homes of Iranian officials. A few days ago, Hezbollah in Lebanon targeted the house of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu with an explosive drone.
The Israeli channel also reported that the Israeli army and the country’s foreign intelligence service presented a plan to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his defense minister, Yoav Galant, to respond to Iran’s missile attack earlier this month.
The network stated, “This plan, the details of which are known only to a limited number of Israeli officials, includes a wide range of options, including attacks on oil and gas facilities, military and government centers, as well as targeting the homes of Iranian officials in response to the drone attack on Netanyahu’s house in Qesariya.”
According to the report, the Israeli Air Force pilots who will participate in the attack on Iran will be informed of the details and objectives shortly before the operation.
This Israeli channel added, “The attack may involve the participation of fighter jets and refueling aircraft, as well as the use of long-range missiles.”
Previously, U.S. President Joe Biden had stated that he does not support an Israeli attack on nuclear or oil targets in Iran, but Tel Aviv has said it will give a “deadly and strong” response to Tehran.
