Zelensky: The War Between Ukraine and Russia May End in 2025

Bayan News – Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, has suggested that the war between Kyiv and Moscow could come to an end in 2025.

Speaking yesterday (November 23) at the Third International Food Security Conference, Zelensky said:

“I want to hear the proposals of the new U.S. president, and I believe we will have a plan to end this war.”

In response to the question of when the war will end, Zelensky added:

“When Russia decides to, and when the United States and its allies take a stronger stance.”

He further emphasized that the path to ending the war between the two nations will not be easy but noted that there is a chance for progress in the coming year.

Additionally, Zelensky stated that Ukraine is open to proposals from leaders in Africa, Asia, and the Arab world to end the conflict.

It is worth noting that in recent months, Russian officials have repeatedly expressed Moscow’s readiness to end the war with Ukraine under the framework of a potential initiative led by Donald Trump. However, they have stressed that any talks on this matter must take into account the realities on the ground.
