Interim Government: Arouzo TV Office Operated Against National and Islamic Values

Bayan News – The Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue of the Interim Government has confirmed the closure of the Arouzo TV office, stating that the network operated against national and Islamic values.

On Thursday, December 5, the ministry announced that the Arouzo TV office in Kabul was shut down to preserve Islamic values, prevent the misuse of media, and strengthen social order.

According to the ministry, an unofficial group, financially supported by exiled media abroad, had been hiring individuals to dub inappropriate television series, violating Islamic and Afghan principles.

The Arouzo TV office in Kabul was closed yesterday.

Additionally, the government’s intelligence forces detained seven employees of the network and took them into custody.
