The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria has announced that the forces of the Islamic Emirate have arrested a citizen of this country after traveling to Afghanistan.
According to the Associated Press news agency, the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that this man had traveled to Afghanistan in May and was arrested after entering the country.
The Austrian government has not provided more details about its citizen.
On the other hand, the Austrian media named him as Herbert F. and reported that he is 80 years old and a prominent member of a small Austrian far-right party whose activities were banned in the past years.
The security officials of the caretaker government of Kabul have not said anything about the arrest of this Austrian man.
