Islamic Emirate’s call for financial assistance to returning migrants from Pakistan
Bayan News – The Ministry of Industry and Trade, under the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, has issued a call to the private sector to provide assistance to returning migrants from Pakistan.
This call, released by the Ministry of Industry and Trade today on Sunday (November 4), states that unfortunately, Pakistan has decided to forcibly expel Afghan migrants, and hundreds of thousands are currently undergoing forced displacement to Afghanistan.
The call states, “On one hand, the approaching winter and the cold weather, and on the other hand, the lack of basic living facilities, have caused our compatriots to face the worst conditions in their lives. What concerns the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is the continued forced expulsion and the lack of living facilities for thousands of people in Afghanistan.”
The Ministry of Industry and Trade acknowledges the shortage of resources to address the situation of returnees in this call and mentions that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate has entrusted this ministry to launch a public appeal to mobilize assistance from the private sector and provide timely support to the migrants.
However, the majority of returnees from Pakistan are facing financial difficulties and a lack of shelter, and their assets have been confiscated by the Pakistani government.
