Bayan News – It has been reported that a 24-year-old youth in Parwan province ended his life by consuming rat poison after receiving a negative response from the family of his beloved girl.
Local sources have identified the youth as Nesar Ahmad Naderi and stated that he was a resident of Manarah village in Jabal Saraj district of Parwan province.
According to published reports, on Saturday evening (December 16), when Nasir Ahmad learned that the family of his beloved girl had given a negative answer to their marriage proposal, he committed suicide by consuming rat poison.
It is said that he died on the way to the hospital.
Security officials in Parwan province have not commented on the matter.
However, suicide rates have increased in several provinces of Afghanistan in recent years.
