A week after the bloody attack on the Sayyid al-Shuhada girls’ school in western Kabul, a number of families of the victims lit candles in memory of their children in front of the school.
Pictures posted on social media show that in addition to the families of the victims, students and professors of this school also participated in this ceremony.
Students of Seyyed Al-Shohada School in this memorial ceremony demanded the reopening of schools for female students.
The Sayyid al-Shuhada school in western Kabul, on the 18th of Saur in 1400, was attacked several times. The blasts occurred as female students were leaving their school.
Dozens of female students were killed and injured in the incident.
However, a series of explosions on training centers in western Kabul has continued. Recently, the Abdul Rahim Shahid Mumtaz Educational Center and High School in western Kabul was also bombed.
