U.S. President Joe Biden said in his Nowruz speech that the U.S. stands with and supports the women of Afghanistan and Iran.
In her speech, she added that women and girls in Afghanistan and Iran are justified by violence and that their human rights are violated.
According to Biden, the United States will defend women’s rights around the world and has allocated a $3 billion budget on the issue.
“We stand with the women of Iran and Afghanistan who face violence and misery, whose human rights are violated,” the US president said in his speech. “I have considered an unprecedented budget or amount of more than $3 billion last week to advance the issue of gender equality globally.”
After the Islamic Emirate’s dominance of Afghanistan, women and girls have been deprived of their basic rights, including a ban on girls’ education and a ban on women working in offices.
