Sources have told the media that Salahuddin Rabbani, head of The Islamic Population Party, has begun indirect talks with kabul’s acting government.
According to published reports, The Afghan Ambassador to Turkey, Deputy Foreign Minister and Massoud Soltani, the current employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, conveyed Amir Khan Mottaghi’s message to Mr. Rabbani in their first meeting.
BayanNews has not confirmed the accuracy of these reports, and official sources have not yet commented on the incident.
However, reports said that Salahuddin Rabbani had indirect contacts with some heads of kabul’s acting government over the past year.
Salahuddin Rabbani is a political critic of Kabul’s current system, and he has consistently criticized the current regime’s existing policies after the Islamic Emirate dominated Afghanistan.
