Voice of Women Radio broadcasts in Badakhshan were stopped due to the publication of “Music”.

Reports from Badakhshan province in northern Afghanistan state that the Department of Information and Culture of this province has stopped the broadcasts of the Voice of Women Radio because of the music broadcast.

Moazuddin Ahmadi, the head of information and culture of Badakhshan, told reporters that this radio was blocked by this directorate and administration.

He added that Voice of Women Radio has violated the broadcasting policy of the Islamic Emirate.

According to him, this radio has released music in the holy month of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information and Culture and the Ministry of Public Affairs of the caretaker government have banned the release of music from Afghan media.
