In a meeting in Japan, the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven strongly opposed the restrictions imposed on human rights by the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan.
The meeting of foreign ministers of the Group of Seven was held on Monday (April 17) under the title of “Afghanistan and Central Asia” hosted by Foreign Minister Japayan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan published a newsletter and said that the participants of this meeting expressed their concerns about the worsening of the human rights situation and humanitarian issues in Afghanistan.
In this meeting, Foreign Minister Japayan strongly condemned the recent decisions of the caretaker government of Kabul to increase restrictions against women and girls.
However, the Japanese foreign minister has emphasized the continuous and direct interaction with the caretaker government of Kabul.
Meanwhile, the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven have pointed out that clear messages should be sent to the caretaker government of the Taliban in order to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a haven for terrorism and to provide humanitarian assistance without obstacles.
The foreign ministers of the Group of Seven emphasize these matters while the caretaker government of Kabul has recently banned women from working in United Nations offices.
This decision of the caretaker government of Kabul has brought national and international reactions.
