Bayan news

Amir Khan Mutaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, says that the Afghan currency has been more valuable than the money of the countries in the region and has maintained its stability.

Motaghi made these statements on Thursday (April 27) in a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, while the value of the currency of the countries in the region has decreased against the US dollar; But the value of the Afghani against the dollar is increasing day by day.

He added: “It is an honor for us and you that today we are in the ranks of fluid and equal governments. Alhamdulillah, the dignity of our money and yours is perhaps the first currency in the world that goes up and does not go down against the dollar.”

However, the economic institutions of Afghanistan believe that the reason for the increase in the value of the Afghan currency compared to foreign values is the implementation of economic projects and the maintenance of the country’s monetary policy.

The spokesman of the Central Bank of Afghanistan told the media that in addition to the implementation of economic projects, the smuggling of dollars has also been prevented, and at the same time, exports have increased compared to previous years, and this has caused the value of the Afghani to rise.
