The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the caretaker government of Kabul reacted to the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran in Sweden and strongly condemned it.

On Thursday (June 29), this ministry called this action of the Swedish authorities disgusting.

The declaration states that the caretaker government of Kabul strongly condemns the Swedish authorities’ permission and support under the pretext of freedom.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the caretaker government of Kabul has said: “We ask all Muslim governments and organizations, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to take all necessary measures in response to such hateful actions around the world.”

It is said that two men burned a Koran in front of a mosque in Stockholm, Sweden, with the permission of the court of this country.

A similar thing happened in Sweden before.

Last year, some right-wing extremist groups in Sweden burned a copy of the Holy Quran in front of the Turkish embassy in Sweden.

This group’s act of burning the Holy Quran brought global protests and angered Muslims all over the world.
