Karzai’s video conference with the German Foreign Minister on the education of Afghan girls

Following the closure of girls’ schools in Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, has discussed the education of girls and women’s return to work in a video conference with the German foreign minister.
Karzai’s press office announced that this video conference was held on Friday (July 8).
In this video conference, Mr. Karzai, in addition to girls’ education and women’s return to work, also discussed the current situation in Afghanistan.
While appreciating Germany’s support for the education of girls and the return of women to work, the former president of Afghanistan has called the education of Afghan girls important for the future of this country.
Hamid Karzai has continued to discuss ways to ensure peace and stability in Afghanistan, especially the importance of inter-Afghan dialogues.
He emphasized on intra-Afghan dialogues while the Kabul caretaker government believes that peace and security have been ensured in Afghanistan and there are no challenges in this regard.
