The European Union has allocated 15 million euros for the economic empowerment of women in Afghanistan

Bayan News – Raffaella de Soto, the EU’s representative in Kabul, wrote on X Network today, Tuesday, October 31, that the European Union is supporting local employment led by women and their increased access to financial services with a contribution of 15 million euros.

According to her, the economic empowerment of women in Afghanistan is considered a key issue.

De Soto added that the European Union will provide this financial assistance to the United Nations Development Office in Afghanistan.

Recently, an exhibition of Afghan domestic products led by Afghan women was held in Kabul, which was visited by the head of the United Nations Deputy Office in Kabul.

During the visit, Mr. Otenbayeva stated that support for women in economic sectors will continue.
