Oil extraction from the wells in Sar-e Pol province has increased to 900 tons

Bayan News – Local officials report that the oil extraction from the Qashqari wells in Sar-e Pol province has increased to 900 tons per day.

Mohammad Ya’qub Abdul Rahman Akh, the governor of Sar-e Pol, added that previously the daily extraction from the oil wells in this province was 650 tons, and now it has reached 900 tons.

According to the governor of Sar-e Pol, a portion of the revenue from Qashqari oil is allocated to development projects, especially the construction of the Sultan Ibrahim Valley Dam.

The Islamic Emirate official added that currently, there are 15 operational oil wells, and the number of wells will be increased in the future.

The Islamic Emirate has granted a 25-year contract to Chinese companies for the extraction of oil wells and other oil fields in the Amu Darya Basin.
