Israel-Hamas conflict: Last month marked the deadliest month for journalists

Bayan News – Simultaneous with the Israeli army’s ground attacks in southern Gaza, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has described last month as the deadliest month for journalists in a recent report.

According to the report, 63 journalists and media workers have been killed since the Israel-Hamas conflict began.

Of these, 54 are Palestinian journalists, four are Israeli, and three are Lebanese journalists who lost their lives in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The report also states that approximately 11 journalists have been injured, and three other journalists are currently missing.

Furthermore, nearly 20 other journalists have been detained.

The CPJ records events related to journalists since 1992, and last month was the deadliest month for the global press.
