The Islamic Development Bank has provided over $24 million in aid to the people of Afghanistan

the Islamic Development Bank recently announced that it is providing $24.6 million in the sectors of food, health, and education to the people of Afghanistan.

The bank stated that by signing three agreements with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, $14 million of the aid will be allocated to returnees for their consumption.

Furthermore, as per the Islamic Development Bank, $8 million will be allocated for funding projects related to access to clean water and health services, support for UN children, and the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.

Additionally, the bank mentioned that $1.5 million of this aid will be provided to the World Health Organization to deliver health services to women and children in remote areas of Afghanistan.
