“Russian Passenger Plane Crash in Wakhan, Badakhshan”

Bayan News – The Russian Aviation Organization has confirmed that the Russian passenger plane that crashed in the Badakhshan province of Afghanistan belongs to Russia.

According to the Russian authorities, the plane, which was flying from India towards Moscow, crashed last night (January 20) in the Toup-Khanah area of Zibak district in Badakhshan province, colliding with high mountains.

The Russian Aviation Organization added that the plane carried six passengers, including four crew members and two passengers. The fate of the passengers of this plane has not been reported yet.

Taliban media had previously reported that the plane belonged to an Indian company.
